Today I'm sharing my easy chicken curry recipe! This is the perfect chicken curry for beginners. It has easily available ingredients and requires less effort. This chicken curry can be made with chicken breast, chicken thighs or bone in chicken. Pair this simple chicken curry with rice for a perfect weeknight meal!
RECIPE INGREDIENTS:
450g/ 1lb chicken (with or without bone)
2 medium onions
1/2 cup (100 ml) tomato purée
1 tsp grated ginger
1 tsp grated garlic
6-8 coriander/cilantro stems
4 tosp yogurt/curd
1 cup hot water
Salt (as needed)
Cooking oil (as needed)
Optional: 1/2 tsp garam masala
—spice mix—
3 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp cumin powder
