INNER SANCTUM - 1948 - #FILM NOIR - Starring Mary Beth Hughes, Charles Russell & Billy House

In INNER SANCTUM a 1948 film noir, we find a mysterious man who accidentally kills his fiancée as he exits a train. Just as the train pulls out, he drops her body on the rear platform.

No one saw him do it or so he thought. At the otherwise deserted station, a mischievous, freckle-faced boy sees him putting her limp body into the back of the train.

Later, he discovers that a flood has washed out the bridge and he can't leave the area right now. There's no way out of town, so he goes to a boarding house.

And guess what... it's THIS house where he finds the boy who saw him dumping the body. The boy lives there with his mother. There is also a sexy blonde boarder among other tenants.

From there things get really strange. It's just an hour long and worth the watch.
