All right. And then there's this is really dry, house and, for all the people that fuss about not having vents under houses, it's pouring down rain outside has been for a while, and there's no moisture under here. That's because, Charles, one guy has done a lot of work, and he's made it where the water doesn't go under this house.

Now, that's sometimes difficult to do. And he's done the work. This family is is doing all the work it takes to preserve their home for the long haul. So what I'm trying to say is, no vents hasn't caused this thing to have a problem under here. It is dusty as it can be, and only a couple places along the outside edge actually has moist dirt.

So we're going to move the jack. I do not want to come down too fast. Okay. So that breaks blocks like that. Hear that pop that thump like that is a broken block. Now, I did not purposely do that. Usually that means that there were some imperfection on the block. But we had to find the crack and got a little bit of one right there.

But that's not an issue. A little bit of one right there. That's not an issue. But you don't want to go down fast because you for sure break blocks and then all of a sudden you're in a bad situation. Hey, guess what. Look at that. That's what broke. All right. That's pretty neat. You guys got a chance, but we're going to have to go back up.

But you got a chance to see what can happen if you're not paying attention. Now, I was paying attention, but it's still. I guess the one block's a little different. See the top? Maybe a little different in it. Cause this over here, maybe this side is higher, to make that crack. There and that.

Okay, guys, we're underneath the house. We've got the water level set. I think we've got shorts now. That you guys can look at to see how we did this. But what I want to tell you is so that when you move around this water level, you don't wanna let the water run out, okay? You want to keep your thumb on it or put something in there like a golf tee or a wire nut, and make sure it's not leaking.

But what I normally do is hold my thumb on top of it, like so. And, and I get to where I'm going, I tuck it in right above the frame, and then I can just sit here and, and I'll put it right next to the pier or something that I'm leveling. But the first thing we're going to do is we're going to go around this whole house from this 50ft area.

We can do 100ft. We're going to go around and see whether we're high or low all the way around, and that's going to have the two of us, which is only two of us today, to holler out. Hey, it's a quarter in..

What I'm doing with this colored water is, with, in this clear hose so I can see it. But we have bubbles in there, and we cannot have bubbles that will cause it to not be level. So we're going to let this bubble run out. While watching the water.

This water here is the same height as this water in here. And I can take this anywhere. This is a 50ft. I can take this now. 50ft radius. I can do 100ft radius. So if you need to set a ceiling in a room, if you needed to set the set of stick and then set grade down all the way, you just move this to where you the height that you want it.

And you can either measure up or down, or you can go exactly to that height. But if you notice. But now the key is not to let this run out, because then if water runs out of this ends up changing the level and you will have different levels. Normally I do all this underneath the house. I'm just doing this so you guys can know how to do it yourself.

We're at the end of the job where we're supposed to just pull the walls together and raise the roof. Found out there was termites. So we had tear all the drywall off, all the insulation off, fixed the areas that we thought it needed. And we added electrical, and the light moved the light that was over there and moved it over here, added an outlet.

And then we put in a garage door and the garage door itself, was an a really rough job. We ended... we put a seven foot door in an eight foot ceiling. Anybody who’s installed doors might know. But here's what we had to do. We had to. And we got permission to do it. Or we notched it so that the track and the trunk, the trolley. The biggest reason why.

So what is the trolley is wider than the belt. Can we put that in? And if you notice our cable to hold the wall together, pull together so that we get it up is really close to the motor. When we learned all that stuff and frustrated as..

Duracell8 says the 54 inch tubs suck. Yes. In order to change those 54 inch tubs, which I have many times done, quite often you have to move a wall in order to do that. That could change. Make an indentation in the bedroom next to it.

Where you have to go in and then out. What I have done before is change. Instead of run, the tub running against the outside wall, change it where it's heading toward the doorway and, put it on the toilet side. Move the toilet over to the other side, make it where I could have a 60 inch tub and take out, you know, the.

And that means redoing the bathroom quite a bit, but it makes a huge difference. The, the the factory tubs are shallow. They're made of plastic. And if somebody weighs over 300 pounds, it won't hold up. It will break. So whenever you replace it, even if you replace the 54 inch tubs, you might want to well, you should go to the fiberglass replacement that will hold up to whatever weight, and it will survive even if the water gets underneath the tub.

Whereas if a plastic tub gets wat..

Hi. We're on a re-level job. Glad to have you with us. Actually, it's a little more. This is, one we’ve run into before where they set up piers with, single half pad. And, you notice how much it settled there without any weight on it.

It's actually got a gap right there. And, this is, three 40ft. Well, two 40ft, portable buildings and one building in between, and, like, an I shape. And, so we're resetting the piers, adding a half pad on the bottom, carting it across of that the block will support will be supported by that. And now we're doubling. Instead of one half pad, there's two camp blocks.

And it should be a 16 by 16 perimeter block. We can make do with this, but, it should have been done ..

More storm footage, or the damage caused by the storm May 2024. This is the Rogers Bentonville, AR area. Just in his trip there's at least 3 historic restaurants that are gone or out of business for the near future.
