I looked outside my window and there he was. I went outside and got a decent video. my new neighbor started weed wacking and that's when he took off. He didn't see him. And to top it off last night I saw a group of deer grazing a few miles away. I hardly ever see deer where I live.

Hawk Tuah girl Re formated for a short.

I just came home, and this beautiful bird was on my roof right before sunset. First time I have seen a night heron in my yard.

This little tree barely survived hurican Ian. I had to prop her back up, it practically was uprooted completely. I pruned most of the branches and to my amazement every branch was flowering when it came back to life.

I didn't expect to see this going on in the middle of my garden. I see her practically every day so I have a water bowl in the ground for when she needs a drink..

This is the longer version of the short video I made about my Mango tree.

The yellow bellied sapsucker is a medium-sized woodpecker that likes to put little holes in trees so he can come back and find some sap and bugs.

There are a lot of these in the harbor.

This little guy was whipped his tail at me as soon as I took him out of the water . I should have been more careful. When I got home I took a hot shower and added some ointment. it stuck g for a few hours and then the pain went away. I went running the next day on the treadmill. if a piece of the stinger breaks off and you have a bad reaction get medical attention. BTW the fish in the end of the video is a Skate a Stingray relative.

Sansevieria Masoniana Whalefin, aka Dracaena, is a beautiful plant that gets very huge and wide thick leaves and the variegated version is even nicer in my opinion.

Sansevieria Masoniana aka Dracaena "whalefin plant" is a very thick leaved plant that is very easy to grow and is famous for its giant leaves.

In my opinion this is the coolest dieffenbachia of them all. The camouflage green leaves and the crested mid vein make this plant the talk of the dumb canes aka Dieffenbachia. It's a hearty plant and is easy care so I recommend it .

AKA Elephant foot palm these trees have been known to live 350 years. A great plant that can go a long time without water.

I recently have been checking different stores and have noticed Costa Farms has been putting out some cool plants in different stores. If you see a plant in one store it may no be available in other stores and vise versa. Even though I have a few giant thai Constellations . I bought one to see if the varigation is a little better. I couldn't believe who poorly the were treated there was no water in the pots and the soil was dry and it 95 today.

She has been clearing out spots in my garden for a few days . it looks like she found a good spot to lay her eggs.

At first I thought it was a different species of fish.

Another day in the life of Steve

He is pretty tame ,had him since he hatched.

This philodendron has big sword shaped leaves that start of Orange and elegantly change colors.

There is always something happening at Steve's garden 😆. Here is a perfect example of a female Florida Box turtle.

Osprey sounds like a canary.

Gopher tortoises are considered a endangered species in Florida. The laying of the eggs was posted on a reptile forum and was borrowed by me for educational purposes.

This plant absolutely loves being outdoors in the shade . Springtime in South Florida.
