This happened in Nairobi amid the ongoing anti-tax protests.

Members of parliament on Tuesday approved a bill that would see Kenyans pay more taxes. This sparked outrage from the citizens.

29yr old Rex Masai was shot by a plain clothed policeman on Thursday in Nairobi. This was during a youthful protest against the proposed finance bill 2024.

Other bills being snuck in the background are;
1. Amendments to the land laws. Which turns ownership of lands near urban areas from "free-hold" to "lease-hold". Meaning that an annual levy will be paid on ancestral land. Moreover, failure to meet the land-rent will see the lands be auctioned to the highest bider, including foreign powers. This is in line with globalist agendas by entities such as World Economic Forum (WEF) and United Nations (UN).
2. Conflict of interest bill. Which allows public officials, and their family members, to conduct business with the government.
