This revelation was brought to the forefront by Melonie Mac, who tweeted out her dismay over this person being hired as the narrative lead on the upcoming Metroid game. She posted on X, "So... one of the writers for Metroid Prime 4 has openly said she supported the idea of Samus Aran being transgender before?" This has since been confirmed via the official Metroid Wikipedia page.

Calls for violence against people with an anti-woke opinion are becoming increasingly common within the progressive DEI crowd, like Alyssa Mercante and her ilk. But the difference is these people are actually unhinged. Games journalist Ryan Easby, who has freelanced for various outlets including NME, PCGamesN, The Escapist, The Gamer, and Gayming Magazine, declared that Mark Kern aka Grummz should never have a moment of safety or peace for his entire life.

In response to Kotaku Senior Editor Alyssa Mercante accusing Kern of lying regarding Call of Duty including transgender-themed bullets as part of its “Pride” month gift pack, Easby declared that Kern should never know safety or peace in his entire life.

Easby reacted to Mercante’s post accusing Grummz of lying by writing, “He should never know a moment of safety or peace in his entire life I think.” Grummz responded, “Dude, I tweet about video games. Why does this bother you so much?”

This isn't the first time Easby has called for violence against Grummz. Back in April, he posted, “Soft launching my campaign to kick Mark Kern in the balls.” His call for violence was echoed by numerous individuals in the video game industry.
